Herz was already prepared, or at least he thought so. Rötlich had grabbed two handguns in holsters from the training stand, keeping one for herself, and throwing the other to the Sergeant. He looked back at the Captain strangely, momentarily wondering what her state of mind was in giving the man with a fully functioning assault rifle a simple pistol. But he soon noted the suppressor, and Rötlich’s light vest.

“Wie viele Menschen?” it was a demand more than a request for information.

“Reports say 8 heavily armed hostile combatants.”

“Assume that that number has tripled. We each assume that we will be taking down 8. Do not miss a shot.”

She already began moving towards where her combat prepared Audi A8 was- it wasn’t exactly a military vehicle, so it’d be able to slip into the nearby city without a problem.

*he overheard the situation by the sargent so he released the mag from his pistol and loaded it up with a fresh one and put the pistol in his holster then he grabbed an MG36c that was leaning against the training table that was one of his original choices but now this was serious, then he looked over at the audi A8 seeing that this car would fit well in a society.*

“Hauptmann Rötlich!” a man ran up to her, cutting off what she was about to say in response to Viking’s slight grin. The fact this man was out of breath and could hardly come up with a salute was concerning as the panic in his voice.

“Herz, was ist den los?” ([Codename], what’s the matter?)

“Reports are coming in- assault rifles- police- overwhelmed- tangos!-” he stuttered, and only stopped to breathe when Rötlich put her hands on his shoulders firmly. He soon straightened up. ”The police are not armed enough to take care of a left extremist group… I’m requesting permission for my team to intercept under the alias of the GSG-9, so the slaughter does not get out of hand.”

Normally Rötlich would’ve had her team intercept, but Hawkeye and Chateau were away at the moment. ”Inform the head of the GSG that ‘Athena’ is inbound. Get a vest on, grab a small weapon, and let’s go. You, me, and Viking. That’s all we have time to assemble without compromising the situation.”

*He looked over at the man that was running toward us franticly then hearing what was happening he knew that he would acually get to see some real action that he hasent seen in a long time.*

German Police Used Only 85 Bullets Against People in 2011

According to Germany’s Der Spiegel, German police shot only 85 bullets in all of 2011, a stark reminder that not every country is as gun-crazy as the U.S. of A. As Boing Boing translates, most of those shots weren’t even aimed anyone: “49 warning shots, 36 shots on suspects. 15 persons were injured, 6 were killed.” […]

Meanwhile, in the U.S., where the population is little less than four times the size of Germany’s, well, we can get to 85 in just one sitting, thank you very much. 84 shots fired at one murder suspect in Harlem, another 90 shot at one fleeing unarmed man in Los Angeles. And that was just April.

(I think something went a little wrong with the posting above but that’s okay xD)

Kelly’s eyes shot between targets as each bullet ripped straight through them- hell, one could make the argument that her eyes moved faster than the shots themselves. In either case though, she disengaged the course and nodded at him in moderate approval. ”Compact and accurate, and most impressively, patient, even in a training course that many past Sigma members refused to take seriously. I like that.”

*After he was finished he looked back at her to see what she would say after the course had stopped moving, he smiled a bit on the corner of his mouth of the approval.*

*he sort of jumped up hearing the…

*he watched her glance back then seeing the sooting range* “i guess it fan’t be that bad.” *he got up and followed her*

Upon arrival at the range, she stopped at a terminal.  He’d soon see that dividing him and the range was a 3 foot high barricade with a few weapons leaning against it.  There were lines of standing wooden enemies and civilians alike, all of which were at varying distances right now.  Below them was an extensive set of railing lines covered lightly in dirt.  ”I had another one of my engineers fix this up.  ”The targets can move now- but I want to see just how fast they are and how accurately you can hit a moving target.”

*he looked at the wood cutout targets now knowing that he was in for a good bit of shooting and thinking involved, he then looked below at the ground seeing the railing* “So this is more than just shooting a aiming…”

Rötlich nodded, “Ja.  It’s about being able to react to consistently changing situations, responding with speed and predicting movements more than anything.  I know you received training on it both on your own and with Deutschland, Lukas, but I just want to confirm it.  Choose your gun wisely and nod when you’re ready.”

*after she was done explaining to him he began to think of what weapon would be good for this, he looked at the selection wondering what to pick*

(It’s your call on what’s there) Rötlich waited patiently for him to make his decision- shotguns, LMGs, assault rifles, SMGs, handguns… So many choices.  She knew which one would generally be best in the upcoming situation, given the moderate spread between the targets, but wanted to see his preference in the matter.

*he looked at his many choices carefully, after some time of thinking he chose the Walther P99 that was on the tale by the many other guns that were at his disposal, he picked the small pistol since the right knoledge with a pistol can lead to greater effectivness than any shotgun or LMG, he looked over at kelly*

Rötlich watched him solemnly, but raised an eyebrow at his final selection.  She wasn’t going to ask if it was his final decision.  In a real battle, he’d have no time to make that decision anyway.  Not even looking at the terminal, the Captain pressed two buttons right next to each other.  It started with two targets quickly moving from the distance, roughly 10 miles an hour.  One on the left, on the other hand, darted from left to right at about half that speed, but gradually advanced as well.

*he watched her on the terminal typing in the cammands for the targets, he saw the targets pop up suddeny, he then exhaled for accuracy and fired at the two non civilian targets in the upper body area in two shots*

It was good that he knew how to keep calm in the situation.  As those two went down, she moved her hand up and to the left.  Another target, once lying flat, popped up but remained in place.  From just beneath its feet, a tube popped from the dirt and three small airsoft pellets, replicating M16 fire, flew upwards in Carver’s direction.  The other target increased speed when its target comrade seemed to be giving cover fire.  A moment later from that direction, the same thing happened with the tube, this time from a bit closer.

*after the targets had gone down he saw the new target pop up firing the little bebe projectiles at him, so he took cover behind the not only to find yet another target up closer to him firing aswell almost like a shotgun shell firing at him but it didnt seem to hurt like a real shotgun shell.

(My only reply before I get off for the night because I want sleep)

Rötlich’s eyes, once having deviated back to the course momentarily, sharply moved back over to Carver.  She couldn’t quite say it was fair that she employed such a tactic- she had familiarized herself with the course while he hadn’t had such a luxury.  Rather than sigh and restart with a new path like Hawkeye might have done, she let the course continue.  With Carver momentarily in cover, the target on his left, as indicated by the slight sound of shifting gears meant to simulate footsteps, started moving again whereas the other was advancing as well, at roughly the same speed, giving the occasional randomized pellet fire of supporting fire.

Rötlich knew how she would approach this- move, shoot the firing target in the hand (as, only she knew, force detectors would generate a reaction) in his hand, shoot the charging target, then duck down to take care of business after.  She knew, of course, that there were other- and of course better- ways to go about this exercise.  And she also felt that Carver would pick the better way, or at the least the more interesting one.

*he was acually amazed that this course had such realism that simulated sounds that were close to things you would hear on the feild. He waited behind cover for a bit waiting for the targets to move closer so that more effort wasent nessesary. Once all of the remaining targets were now in sight he got up from cover but still against the wall and fired single rounds at the targets implanting bullets into the chest of them.*
